guys it is food festival day are you ready to eat

sure basically just had food for lunch because we overdue over coming here

alright guys we are here we have arrived at Feria Masticar here at the
-
food festival we've all been waiting these of these food festivals in
-
Argentina yeah I mean we had what just a little bit of fruit for lunch today
-
saving our appetite for the big event so we've got a little walk around yes they
-
have so many different stands with food deserts years wines so without further
-
delay let's start eating let's get serious
-
okay first things first money matters because once you get to
-
the food festival here you can to actually go up to the dance and try to
-
pay with pesos they have a few different booths where you can get these little
-
tickets they're called it Feria Masticar this must be yeah and they have like a monetary
-
value so basically this one is worth 100 pesos fifty twenty ten so you need to
-
get these tickets first in order to start eating and we also had an entry
-
fee as well oh yes so our tickets were one hundred and
-
fifty pesos and today when I went to buy them they told me the price has gone up
-
because the festival has already started yeah so if you do it in advance all the
-
batteries tomorrow but yeah we found our first meal our first dish that we wanted
-
to try so this is a tradition very popular in Argentina but this one
-
is made with calamari and typically sausages either pork or beef or lamb or
-
a combination so first time I'm ever hearing I mean we're by the seat so I
-
mean City it makes sense in a way but this one comes with pickled and
-
fermented vegetables yeah we have some carrots we have some green beans string
-
beans some onions let's take a bite of this
-
the calamari I wasn't really sure what a seafood sausage would taste like
-
if they hadn't actually told me this is calamari I'm not sure I'd be able to
-
tell because the meat is very juicy okay it's not chewy like calamari can be
-
sometimes and yeah it just has a really nice flavor a nice sauce it's kind of
-
like a buckwheat and sour glaze I'm definitely recommended huh and how
-
much was this one yeah 120 okay we got a lot of faces left actually less than
-
that more like three three something calamari
-
so delicious and then the sauce sour a little bit spicy right you wouldn't
-
think you're having such a good job but they said it tastes I got a real Teresa
-
it's a hit time for the next item this one is called cheats on the server yeah
-
it's a little sandwich with pork meat that's been marinated in a Japanese
-
barbecue sauce it has pickles apples and cabbage the
-
only reason we're eating the sandwich right now is because while we were
-
trying the last food item we ended up bumping into the lady who's renting us
-
an Airbnb apartment here in Mar Del Plata yeah we hadn't met her yet because
-
there was her mom to let us in but then she recognized this because we were
-
kidding right next to her you must have it this being profile pic here on your
-
Airbnb okay so that's the only reason why we're trying the sandwich we were
-
just asked to move apparently where we're in the shot we're obstructing
-
someone else's official filming yeah anyways this end

is so tasty I've already taken a bite of it this was like our really nice
-
smoky flavor and also it's surprisingly refreshing in a way cooling
-
cabbage the pickles it's on a flatbread very very good would recommend it and
-
yeah we tried this because the lady's husband I just finished eating it he was
-
like it's amazing so we're like okay let's go to that Sam how much was that
-
one again one hundred fifty pesos okay which is the most expensive price for
-
any food item here at the fair as between four to five US dollars so not
-
bad bad my turn to try this bad boy and it's a lot denser than I thought yeah oh
-
nice big juicy pieces of beef I love the Japanese sauce it's got a
-
kick and a tang to it plenty of vegetables and really soft bread you
-
know what I was expecting we would get when I saw the name of this of this dish
-
whoa you know what we eat for breakfast in Peru sometimes when we have those
-
pork sandwiches oh the bangles are on yeah that's what I was expecting this is
-
different different way different but very very good
-
okay this is a bit of a funny one it's called Obama pizza with pepperoni
-
face from place hotels pizza it looks very much like New York style pizza then
-
cross lots of cheese nice slices of pepperoni can't wait to try it
-
I don't know if I like it depends on my mood at the delicious
-
next up I went for some pasta Sam was looking at peeps and I was like all
-
right let's go Italian so we got some sir mentos a large kind of like a round
-
ravioli this one is filled with lamb and it has the smoked mushroom sauce so I'm
-
just cut right down the middle to show you guys the filling this place is it's
-
called Don Francisco the people who make this pasta it's family-run look at that
-
you see that sun-dried tomatoes slam sun-dried tomatoes
-
mushroom sauce oh my I'm going to savor this one slowly decadent huh
-
we need little pieces in order to get would appreciate the flavor ready yeah
-

that is so good oh it's like shredded shredded lamb shredded meat okay I
-
thought it was gonna be like a round lamb but no you've got some like real
-
chunks in there very cheesy the mushrooms give it a nice earthy flavor
-
sun-dried tomatoes are magics delish huh Wow love it and that was 150 150 150
-
pieces the maximum amount you could spend here maximum amount
-

I've never had a pasta stuffed with so many ingredients inside before loaded
-
with cheese and lamb pilgrim I'd love to actually go and have a meal at this
-
restaurant they've really impressed me with this dish
-
and come just a little bit of garlic bread so I can chop up the soft bread I
-
kind of ignore that it looks like a focaccia
-
yum-yum-yum-yum-yum all around
-
so in order to sample the wine you have to rinse a glass we just paid sixty
-
pesos per glass so now we can go in a sampler wine
-

then you come to the bar and you pay for the wine you want

kind of like will Brenda's in those that keep on fire it's like a feature wall

I misread the sign but 90 but I guess that was it you know like I'm a cup of

hot chocolate and we want to eat a lot of dessert so you probably don't need

stuff it's been a while since I had to go from the furniture

very sweet very sugary and first dessert of the day so yeah we've moved on to the
-
dessert round at this point the wine was the turning point one of my favorite
-
tools with dulce de leche infused in the middle got a lot of guys
-
so crispy on the outside gooey dulce de leche in the middle and
-
these are reserved really sweet there's also been some salt added to which I
-
love what's really good
-
he's running away with his ice cream don't anyone come near it no guys this
-
is super dulce de leche it's not just dulce de leche I don't even know what
-
that means is it like extra it's for super people it's for super people like
-
myself people like Samuel oh I began guys melting it crazy it's
-
something it's so rich I got to get after this quick get after it and get
-
after it baby just running down the side all

right last last but not least this struggle is so real right now my belly

is bulging so badly it's popping out of my sari this was pure glutton

we passed into the pure gluttony stage a while ago this is like super girl in me

this is a burger with company yeah which is like some kind of wild hey no Blair

so I can't say I've ever had a hamburger made with wild warm the hair

hey when in Argentina right we had a food fest alone Argentina you try

how was it I'm so full but I am glad we tried it

and has a very unique flavor okay I know peculiar in a way it's tasting

and it's kind of smoking something new something unusual we're trying we're

trying and guys we are both so tired bellies are bulging so we're gonna say
