Hey, kids, today we're making spiced pumpkin roll with butter cream frosting.

It is a collaboration that I am doing today with James of Fun Foods.

And now let's get started with our pumpkin roll U two's best for creative things.

It's cooking and crap.
-
Hey, kids, first thing I'm gonna do is I'm going to beat together the three eggs, one cup of granulated sugar, a teaspoon of lemon Jews and 2/3 cup of honkin.
-
This is the pure pumpkin Caray I'm using.
-
The eight outs can and it's about a cup and this eight ounce can so you'll have about 1/3 left.
-
You can make mine pumpkin mug cake with the leftovers.

So go there, and we are going to beat this until everything is smooth.

And this, well, I have 3/4 of a cup of flour.

This is all purpose Bob's red Mill flower, and I have here a bunch of spices.

We have a teaspoon of ground ginger, half of a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of baking powder, two teaspoons of ground cinnamon Ah, fourth of a teaspoon of metal and an eighth of a teaspoon of ground cloves.

And we are going to sift all of this in together, and we're going to add that to the egg.

Oh, the eggs that we just may mixed together.
-
So in that mixture goes, I'm going to make sure it's well combines.
-
We do not want to holy overmix it, so just make sure that it comes, just comes together on no pieces of flour or anything is left.

I have preheated my oven to 350 degrees, and I have my jellyroll pan here, which is I think it's a 10 by £15 and I'm going.

I have it lined with a parchment paper that they cut down to size But I did leave some hanging over the edge just for ease, of removing it from the the pan when it's completed, um, cooking, baking and we're gonna spread this out.

We're gonna leave this in the 350 degree oven for anywhere between 11 to 15 minutes.

Just keep an eye on it, and we'll be back when this is done.

That took a boat 14 minutes, and I see where I didn't spread it for.

Well, we're going to make it work, so we're gonna just slide this right off the hand.

And then while it's still warm, you want Thio role chili role that train it to be and a rule so this might be a little warm on your hands, but you'll survive.

That's a lie.

Very, very, very, very hot.

Think sure, when you roll it, you leave it on the seam on the bottom.

There, we're going to allow that to cool down in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.

We're not going to be doing our filling for this.

I have I put in eight ounces of challenge cream cheese, and this here is one stick of butter of challenge butter at room temperature, That is half of a but and then we're also going to add in one cup of confectioner's sugar.

That's portage sugar or icing sugar.

Whichever I sifted that you don't have to and we're gonna add in 1/2 of a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

I have, um, vanilla bean paste, which is thicker.

And we're gonna just lend this all up until it does well combined.

We're going to carefully unwrap our kay our rule.

I promise you, I have had this since I can ever remember Oh, no, for Middle pumpkin roll, Maybe we can Maybe we can reverse the role so that that can be in the middle.

Then there's that issue right there.

So no matter where I go, I'm gonna have a little bit of an issue.

Here, take your butter cream filling and you want to Philip within about an inch of each side because you need thio.

Give it some space to expand and you don't want it to come out the sides of your role, so just give it a little bit of space.

You don't have to give it a whole lot, right?
